Get started
Enter your baby's profile, usual milk volume and feeding interval in iPhone settings. Install and open Baby Log on the paired Apple Watch to sync your settings. You choose the amounts and intervals; the app does not recommend a feeding plan.
Record and edit
Tap feeding or diapers in Today or a widget, review the time and details, then submit. The iPhone form closes after a successful save. Use History to add past records, edit or delete. Future events cannot be saved as completed records.
Set up your watch face
Add Baby Log complications using Apple's Modular face editor. Use Baby Photo or Care Overview in the center, and name/age, feeding, diapers, next feed or milestones in available small slots. The system date slot may not support third-party complications. Choose and crop a photo on iPhone; select the Multicolor face color for a color photo. The system controls widget refresh timing.
Missing notifications
Choose iPhone only, Watch only, both, or no notifications on iPhone. Check notification permission, Focus, and watch wear/lock status. Both does not guarantee simultaneous alerts; Apple controls presentation. Wait for synchronization when changing the notification device. Quiet hours suppress alerts without a backlog afterwards. Snoozing does not change a feeding record.
Sync and backup
Records save locally first and exchange when the paired devices connect. iPhone uses private iCloud sync and separate iCloud Drive file backups. Check Data & Backup in settings: a generated file is not necessarily uploaded. Automatic backups run when the app is active, not on a guaranteed background schedule.
Restore a backup
Select a file in Backups in iCloud and confirm the merge. Existing records are not duplicated, and deletion markers are retained. Restore does not erase the database or roll back to a past state. Old backup files are not automatically deleted. Do not email us a full backup or baby photos.
Contact support
Use the email below with your device model, OS and app versions, steps and expected result. Redact names, photos and private records from screenshots. Never send Apple passwords, verification codes or full backups. We handle only the support information you choose to send.
Scope
This app is for parents and caregivers to record daily care. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, disease monitoring, treatment or personalized feeding plans. Reminders do not replace caregiver judgment.
