Scope and responsible developer
This policy covers Baby Log (育儿随记) on iPhone, its companion Apple Watch app, their widgets and these dedicated support/privacy pages. The developer and support contact is Qin Pengbo (Apple seller display: 鹏博 秦). Contact email is below. The app is for adult caregivers, with no child social network or public sharing service.
Information used by the app
The app processes the nickname, date of birth, birthday calendar and milestones, feeding times and amounts, diaper types and times, notification/display preferences, and selected/cropped photos that you provide. These support records, statistics, age and milestone displays, widgets and reminders. The system photo picker supplies only photos you select. Record IDs, sync device identifiers, revisions and deletion markers support synchronization, deduplication and conflict resolution, not advertising identification.
Storage and transfer
iPhone and Apple Watch store data locally and exchange it through Apple WatchConnectivity. Widgets read local shared snapshots. iPhone uses Apple's private CloudKit database and can save JSON backup files containing profiles, photos, records and deletion markers to your iCloud Drive. Watch syncs through its paired phone and does not independently manage cloud restores. Apple services follow your system settings and Apple's privacy policy; data does not always remain solely on the device.
Developer access
The app has no custom account system, ads, behavioral analytics or developer telemetry upload service. We do not sell care data or share it for advertising tracking. We provide no administrator service for reading your private iCloud records; baby records and photos are not uploaded to the EGRETIVA website server. The app does not integrate HealthKit or read contacts, microphone or location. Apple's weather complication is a separate system feature.
Deletion and retention
You can edit and delete records in History. Deletions sync, while revisions and deletion markers may remain to prevent old records from reappearing. Deletion does not immediately erase every historical copy. Existing backups are separate snapshots that may contain old records and photos; deleting an app record does not rewrite or automatically remove them. Manage unwanted backups in Apple's Files app, including Recently Deleted. Uninstalling the app does not delete iCloud or other-device copies. There is currently no one-tap erasure of all copies. Contact us for available guidance; we cannot sign in to or delete your private iCloud data for you.
Permissions and security
System settings control notification permission; refusing it does not prevent manual recording. Protect your devices and Apple account. Backups use content validation, but the app does not add encryption to the JSON file itself. Anyone holding that file may be able to read it. Do not publish it or share it with unrelated parties.
Support correspondence
If you choose to email us, we receive the address, message and attachments you supply to respond and troubleshoot. Our mailbox is hosted by Zoho; your chosen email provider also handles correspondence. Minimize the information sent and exclude full baby records, photos, backups and account credentials. We keep support correspondence for resolving issues and necessary retention, not advertising. Use the same email to request access, correction or deletion of information you sent, subject to legally required retention.
These web pages
These dedicated app pages do not load equipment-inquiry measurement scripts or ads. Cloudflare may automatically inject web analytics and performance scripts to process page visits, browser information and load timing for website operations. This is separate from the app itself, which has no developer telemetry. Cloudflare and our US-hosted server may also process IP addresses, requested paths and browser information to deliver and protect HTTPS pages. Server access logs are rotated. These pages cannot access baby profiles or backups in the app. Other EGRETIVA equipment pages have a separate website policy.
Your choices and policy updates
Manage your data and permissions in the app and Apple settings. Contact the email below for privacy requests about correspondence or website information we receive. We handle requests under applicable rules and seek only information necessary to verify them. Updates carry a date on this page. If new collection is introduced, we will explain it before enabling the relevant functionality and obtain required permission.
